Kasim is still under contract, so would expect them to require a decent fee which probably rules us out.

Absolute nonsense the john guidetti rumour on bcfc followers they ran a story on who we should look at signing and one of a number of names were guidetti so someone has then turned it into blues are targeting guidetti one he would not drop to the championship he wants European football and two wages will be a huge stumbling block

Kasim is under but it wouldn't be a huge break the bank fee something around 500k but I'd would rather spend a fee on tesche someone who is proven and also knows the club

Guidetti has just signed for Celta Vigo, I guess it was just a rumour and nothing more. Even if there was some truth to the speculation, anybody would've picked Vigo in Spain over Small Heath in England.

I would be slightly disappointed if this was the case based on how 'shocking' the transfer was said to be, however I too have heard these names. Barton is unlikely I would say though due to the social media statements made by him about Blues last season and the retaliation made by Blues fans.

Completely contradicting my previous statement, information has just emerged that Blues are in fact trying to sign Joey Barton on a free transfer however wages are being a stumbling block (Twitter Source).
He is a good player but with his temper and recent negative history with the Blues I am unsure whether this was the "shock signing" I was hoping for.

Don't get me wrong, he would be a fantastic signing with his experience and quality. However, I do wonder how some Blues fans would react due to his controversy.

His wages would be too high . Birmingham have a set 5k to spend on wages per week so i highly doubt they'd be after a player who'd be on at least 10k per week . Would be a nice signing though

Blues have received a loan from the company that have an exclusivity period to purchase the club. The loan is significant and the majority of the money will be used to improve the team (wages and fees) This wage cap may no longer be so strict. Its fair to say though we won't be offering £10-15k per week though, unless an extraodianry opportunity becomes available.
